As part of joint coordination among national bodies concerned with sustainable development and environmental protection, the Renewable Energy Holding Company took part in an extensive meeting with the Ministry of Environment and the Center for Solar Energy Research and Studies, attended by a group of senior officials.
The meeting discussed a set of strategic topics aimed at enhancing cooperation and unifying efforts to implement renewable energy projects in line with sustainable environmental standards.
During the gathering, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Ministry of Environment and the Center for Solar Energy Research and Studies, with the aim of strengthening integration in implementing clean energy projects and preserving environmental resources. The agreement also addressed mechanisms for monitoring and supervising the quality of solar panels in Libya through the necessary testing procedures.
The Renewable Energy Holding Company affirmed its full commitment to applying environmental standards across all its projects and its keenness to partner with relevant authorities to achieve a balance between economic development and environmental protection.
For its part, the Ministry of Environment welcomed this step, praising the pivotal role played by the Holding Company in supporting the transition toward sustainable energy, and emphasizing the importance of continuing cooperation to implement projects that have a positive environmental impact.
