Renewable Energy Holding Company explores cooperation with Tunisia’s IFRI-SOL to develop renewable energy projects

On Wednesday morning, 25 June 2025, a joint meeting was held bringing together the Renewable Energy Authority, the Renewable Energy Holding Company, and Tunisia’s IFRI-SOL, a company specialized in the manufacture of solar panels and renewable energy solutions.

The meeting featured a presentation by IFRI-SOL, showcasing its key activities and range of solar panel products. The parties also discussed potential areas of cooperation, including the supply and installation of systems, as well as providing the technical consultancy needed to support renewable energy projects in Libya.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to prepare a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to formalize this collaboration, which aims to advance future projects and promote the wider adoption of clean energy sources in the region.
