On Thursday, November 20, 2025, the Renewable Energy Holding Company held an extended meeting at the headquarters of the Renewable Energy Authority in Tripoli with the General Manager of Jordan’s Green Sources Company, a representative from its affiliate NoorSparta, and their accompanying delegation. The meeting was also attended by several department directors from the Holding Company.
The discussions focused on establishing a roadmap for collaboration on solar energy projects across various sites in Libya, aligned with the country’s national direction toward clean energy adoption. The Jordanian delegation expressed strong interest in investing in Libya, citing their companies’ regional experience in the UAE, South Africa, Sudan, and others.
This meeting marks an important step toward forming strategic Arab partnerships in the renewable energy sector, paving the way for impactful projects that support Libya’s energy transition and regional positioning as a promising hub for solar energy.
